Since I live alone in the wilderness & my neighbors always keep their distance, as do I, so we can go out & about without masks & without following any rules, I have had the ongoing pleasure of not being cooped up & not even thinking about covid for days & weeks at a time. But your poem is a deliciously succinct way to demonstrate (& make us feel) how it feels for the rest of the world! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

I do too understand why dogs get excited to leave the house dear Anais. You have Georgia weather. Here in Michigan, coronavirus and Winter. I need a lake or a long walk in the forest. Can't wait for Spring to sprung. Thank you for sharing your amazing words and thoughts.
