Love Who You Are

I’ve seen so many people,
Judging themselves by what they see online�"
Endless scrolling through flawless faces,
Then sighing,
“Oh! How rubbish I look.
Why don’t I look like them?”

They start to question,
Doubt their worth,
Not knowing�"
Those “perfect” faces are painted with filters.
But you?
You don’t need a filter to shine.

When I was in 8th grade,
Someone laughed at my face.
I cried in silence,
Told no one…
But somehow, they knew.

And then my mum said,
“My dear girl,
Even the moon has scars,
Yet we love it still�"
So why not you?
You are just as real.”
