A Walk in Springtime

A haiku about a recent hike my wife and I went on while visiting in Alberta, Canada.

A babbling creek 

The air we breathe so bracing

Freshness fills our soul

Ordinarily, I don't care much for haikus, but this one is different. It beautifully recreates a moment in time, to the point where we can almost experience the scene.
