Tu (You)

This is a poem I wrote about a 'you'. This 'you' could be anyone. Even God.

Guardo il cielo e ti vedo.

Ascolto il mare e ti sento.

Rifletto e mi parli.

Amo e mi abbracci.

Sorrido e sorridi,

piango e sorridi,

inasprisco e sorridi.

Io, piccolo.

Tu, grande.

E mi aiuti e mi sei vicino,

in ogni gradino di questo

vago, elusivo cammino.

ENGLISH TRANSLATION:

[I look at the sky and I see you. I hear the sea and I hear you. I think and you talk to me. I love and you hug me. I smile and you smile, I cry and you smile, I lose my temper and you smile. I'm little. You're big. And you help me and you stay by my side, in every step of this vague, elusive path.]

I really do like this! I like how you have two different translations for the audience to choose from. When I read this, I know you said it could be anyone but I really did see this being about God. Especially when you said "I'm little. You're big." That's when that thought triggered my mind! Haha. I think you done an excellent job and I look forward to reading more of your work :)
