Cat's Prayer

A love poem for one of our cats

Steeped in silence
At six in the morning
Across bright lights
From a nearby field,

Seagulls land on the ground
Before leaping into the air
In a circular pattern
Leaving nothing
But feathers in the mist,

And the tapping of my paw
On the window.

I love cats and own 2 and I like you vision of the cat in the morning! I am going to write about cats today and I hope you will read mine! I think you should have named this, "Cats Glory in Capture". Love it! Do you own a cat?
