Pain Of Another

This pain is not my own

I feel it all the same

Pulling so hard

I wish I could take his suffering

 

Take it to my depths

So he couldn't see

Hidden in my core

Far from his beautiful eyes

 

I would mold it into mine

This body already broken

It could take a hit more

I want to guard that boy

Protect him from all harm

 

Hold him close

I can take a blow

If he will stay untouched

By this meaningless pain

I need his loving heart

I need it desperately, next to mine
