I look in the mirror

And what do I see

Besides my reflection

Staring back at me

 

A girl who doesn’t want

To hold on to past secrets

And sees the gripping hands

To her past she regrets

 

No one can see how trapped

And alone she feels

Life goes on around her

And her mind reels

 

Fore the hands hold her back

And therefore enchant

She wants to confess

But alas she can’t
