An Angel

She looks like an angel 

in her pearl white silky dress

A pure angel,

fallen from the heavens above,

sullied by the earth

And given up all hope to returning home

Settling for a man who will never make her happy

A man who will never fulfil her deepest desires

Rice is fallen from the sky,

And the angel elegantly steps away

To a rickety old car

Bound to the earth forever
