land of forgetting

stars fell from the sky like rain
i smiled down at my arms
the tears,all giddy,scatter'd up them to lace in my hair

fireflies layed to make paths
i closed my eyes and walked free
my legs carrying me away to the world where lights cast

breathing in the breath taken
i laugh with the ocean tides
and twine my fingers with sand,loosing myself,numbing me

the land of forgetting,a
place i get lost in for days
is a place never forgotten the way its perfectly made
