Outsiders

Outsiders

A Poem by Starrbitt

To:Outsiders
From:Me

I'm the girl with layers of buckets on her head
so her land of unknown stays unread

I'm the girl with the curtain of fog in her eyes
so no one dares to look past her disguise

I'm the girl with an invisible grin
because if I frown, that means they win

I'm the girl with a frozen voice
because if I speak, out comes the noise

I'm the girl half in the dark
I don't like light,but I still have a heart

I'm the girl holding her breath
I hate the feel, but I wonder about death

I'm the girl outsiders wait for
they like to cut my insides and kill my core

With your very good poetry. People will find you. I been on writing sites for 8 years. Many of us have follow each other to new sites. If you read the old timers. They will read your words. I like the honest words and thoughts in the poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.
