JUST FORGET IT! (Oops, I did)

JUST FORGET IT! (Oops, I did)

A Poem by angel
"

about the rush of society and the benefits of misbehaving

"
Life is so short, to borrow a line
Yet it will bring you down if you let it.
My prescription will heal your heart, make you feel fine;
The miracle cure? JUST FORGET IT!
Don't let it upset you, or bug you, or fret
Just listen to Dr. Old Hippie;
Just swallow those medicines every day,
Your condition is 'chronic'? Well, yippee!
I know just the cure; a  medicinal herb guaranteed to help you to forget..
Now, what was I saying? Hey, look! There's a bird!
I wonder what sort it might be.
It might be a sparrow...there are more! It's a crowd!
The fridge is a-callin' me near.
"Come on, got cold chicken! it cries out so loud
It's the only sound that I can hear.
You can rest when you're inside your burial shroud!
The munchies have kicked in. Oh, dear!

(this poem suspended until further notice, gotta go eat everything I can get my hands on...)

Ah, yes... I know it well!

Always look on the light side of life
(Whistle)

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing
And...

Always look on the bright side of life
(Whistle)
(Come on!)
Always look on the right side of life
(Whistle)
Always look on the bright side of death
(whistle)
Just before you draw your terminal breath
(whistle)For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow
Forget about your sin
Give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow

So always look on the bright side of death
(Whistle)
A-Just before you draw your terminal breath
(Whistle)

Life's a piece of s**t
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true
You'll see it's all a show
keep 'em laughin'' as you go, but
Remember that the last laugh is on you and...

Gee
Lol, the munchies. I'm more a lager man myself, tried smoking once and was as sick as a dog. Never tried it again.
Nice to read something other than the " norm "
Good morning Angel
