these are just a series of thoughts.....

Perception is a mirror into the soul of the onlooker.......

but how many people really see the truth of a person, thing, or circumstance...

instead of just seeing the reflection of ourselves staring back at us.

Hey Allie,
In complete agreement here. Even looking at ourselves in the mirror has became a distortion of what we want to portray in these modern times of enforced flawlesness being rammed down our throats, be it celebrity, social media or commercial advertising. So how can we expect others to see the real us when we can barely recognise it in an ever changing world?
Sometimes it feels like we are living at the wrong speed and nothing can ever be seen as acceptable for more than the moment of now.
To be heard and felt today seems an impossible task, as we are in constant change, chasing ourselves to catch up, but there are those that hear us, feel us and see us, if only the world would spin a little slower for us to see them amongst the constant flurry of movement.

I agree with Pete. It is a deep reflection. We need to look inside of ourselves to reach deep into our own hearts. Our perceptions of ourselves change.

perception manufactures our reality - we tend to see what we want to see and believe and not what really is. truth can also be stranger than fiction though. this is deep reflection ... :)
