Challenges

I'm here because I cannot resist a challenge!

I substitute dreams for other dreams

Patch the heart when it breaks

Let myself to be lost and to be found elsewhere ...

I face fear with my head held high

Have the courage to turn my back and not fight

To forgive without being asked for forgiveness.

 

I look through the illusions that trapped me
And from disillusions new expectations arise
Supporting the trends with hope.

I recognize the traps my mind weaves
In the depth of the sensibility
In the superficiality of passion
In the fragility of dreams...

I find strength and energy to persist
In the balance of patience
In the wit of humor
In the charm of understanding

I am captive of sorcery and enchantments
Of a smile, of a flower
Of a word captive or spit
A hug, a conversation, a sunset ... 

I resist the sufferings 
the pain that they want to foist on me
For the pleasure of the challenge 
of learning, day by day, how to live!
