Dust and Clouds

Dust and Clouds

A Poem by Angie
"

About long distance love.

"

Two bookends, we matched
so neatly holding up the ends
but never touching.

Say it in a cloud
above your head, ‘I love you, dear.’
no one else will hear.

Dusty shelves whisper
about neglect, stale, dirty air
and dreams left as dreams.
