A dream

I had a dream last night,
You were holding me so tight.
You softly whispered I love you,
I think I said I did too.
Slowly your hands began to explore,
My body yearnin for more.
So I gave in and let my hurt fade,
I asked you in my bed to stay.
You kissed me tenderly,
Hands caressing gingerly.
We made love for the first time in a while,
Looking into each other's eyes made us smile.
My body was trembling with sweet release,
Bringing with it a blissful peace.

I woke up this morning only to see,
Your beautiful eyes looking at me.
