Warrior

Never doubt who you truly are. Never doubt you were born a warrior.

As mornings first light shines through,
She shows herself after being away for so long.
The time for healing has passed.
She's emerged calmer, stronger, wiser.

A warrior able to take on any obstacle.
A proud woman who once was fooled too easily.
Courage and determination guide her.

Her internal struggles have dissipated.
Look into her eyes and you will know her battles.

She was once a broken soul with heart wrenching sadness within.
But today at mornings first light, life's spell has been broken.

No more pity for her.
For today she is once again the person she was meant to be.

A warrior.
