More than Stars

As one star descends, 

Million more arise. 

As they cover the night sky with sparkling diamonds, 

we look up and wonder about the universe. 

And think about all the depth within it. 

All the mysteries that are unsolved. 

The sparkling night sky, 

guides the lost ones homes. 

Brings the loved ones together. 

Hope. 

That one word stars give. 

Light. 

The one thing stars emit. 

Beauty. 

The one description for stars. 

With the company of the stars, 

I no longer feel alone. 

I know that something is looking after me, 

I fall asleep at night, 

as sound as a baby. 

And awake to the accompany of another star.
