every second my mind runs away
deceiving me, cheating me, leaving me astray
its the choice we had taken together
swore by it never forget to remember
how can it be so devious in nature
how can he not try and remember
the days which were filled with joy
all is possible, everything's a toy
how can he delay to bring back the sun the moon the stars
the day dreams of driving the fastest car
nothing mattered, nothing pains
see life drive by switching lanes
success was everyday and progress was imminent
love was easy and seemed inherent
it also forgets i have an ego too
i'm telling you again, these things wont do
i never negotiate coz i never compromise
i patiently wait till you realize
there's a lot of work left to be done
or else life will go by, just staring at the sun
