oh the power of words

oh the power words hold

come, come, let me show you the way

watch me lead you down the path i choose with enticing bait placed so,  

much as offering hamburger to hungry man

 i can say the words on paper that give compliment to your ego

or i can say that which might cause tear

 

here to there and back again as your head spins 

wildly  in attempt to grasp that which i provide

then i spring the trap with use of unexpected phrase 

that slaps hard to you the realities of this world
