The taste and pride of organic vegetables and fruits are always a blessing. Chickens nuisance , porcupine poops and squirrels teethering my corns are another heartbreaking moment. If i try green house methods , the last to laugh seems to be my own kin. I envy you keith.

but you are right! fresh beats canned or frozen any day mine have flavor and suspect have a nudge or two in health's direction
i'm spoiled rotten ... when i am away and without a garden i feel ,,, different, hard to explain
if ya were down the road i would bring for you fresh eggs, fresh seasonal vegetables and best damn maters one could ever hope for!
