I remember Kent state
I was in Germany then and wanted to rush home and stick flowers in barrels but the Air Force wouldn't let me. Nixon fucked us and donnie's turning us over for a whack at the other side. Yeah, I'm being graphic, and yeah, I'm being crude, and yeah, I hated seeing the pictures, and yeah, Neil Young made me cry, still does every time I hear that song, but god damn, it's high time for tears and high time for the good guys to win -- but where the f**k are they? half of them got rich and joined the other side, the rest just gave up and turned away. We need a Moses who can split this sea of madness and lead us back to sanity. We won't find him in these pages, but we can damn sure call out to him in poet voices, the loudest of all if we will just WRITE THEM!

I never forget these things that are always brought to us by the same evil. Birmingham's bloody Sunday, the Kennedy assassinations, MLK assassination (I was near Memphis when that happened) Kent State and more, it's always the same kind of miscreants doing the deeds.
