Among the stars

It's a day filled with snow,

very dreamy, all rinsed in white glow.

A lazy day, nothing interesting today,

but I want to pen my mind away. 

the sky dusked, and the night on its way,

it's the close of another day,

yet there is lots to say.

I can feel the wind on my cheeks,

music notes and life beats,

thoughts meeting at my streets,

dancing away in those evening greets,

they tell me, count to three,

make a wish and see.

Tonight, be among the stars,

savour and collect memoirs,

remember to shine bright,

and hold this thought tight.

I like this AH, it has the basis of something really interesting. But I would like to see a Free Verse version, where the rhymes are not dictating the sense and direction of the Poem. Still a decent effort though.
