Sun RainA Poem by Julie FranThis is my sun rain.
Sun Rain.
It fell in sheets, twinkling and glistening. So alluring and whispery it sounds like crisp blankets rustling. My heavy breath's still the emerging air from my lips into fog. The sight is subduing, makes me feel nothing but the warmth of the sun on my skin and it's soft touch dewing my hair. My smile reaches. Pulling something within me. Content. I feel content in this moment. I call it my sun rain.
