Surprise

Surprise

A Poem by Anna Clark

The things we learned
The times we shared
Are gone so fast
My heart's impaired

I wish I could go back
To the good old days
Where love was a gift
And time was free

I feel your touch
I hear your laugh
I wonder if I could
Ever get that back

Life is a surprise
Love is a desire
You were a dream
And it all backfired

I wish you were here
I wish all the time
For the days where we loved
For the days you were mine

Ah! Can't help but feel the melancholic nature of this poem... This was again an innocent piece of poem with heart warming memories of the past... Love is a kind of amazing thing, something when lost from us puts us in deepest pain.... I really like the honest feelings of yours... Lovely my frnd...

Sincerely
Dhiman
