White ButterflyA Poem by Elle ThompsonJust a brief poem I found in my notes from this semester about a memory from my childhood.
By the window
In a red door I saw you Glistening, glimmering, gossamer white My hand closed Around your paper wings Stealing shimmering flakes and leaving you a wire skeleton Struggling in the dark.
