Someday soon

My feelings after some very prolonged, difficult and stressful times

I shall rise someday soon like a phoenix

from the graveyard of distrust and disillusion.

I shall shine someday soon like the morning star

clearing the clouds of fear and failure.

I shall battle and win someday soon

the inner demons, doubts, fears and pains.

I shall learn to answer with conviction someday soon

that life in a nutshell is about falling and getting up

I shall tell myself each day to push forward

after each crashing defeat as life is worth living

 

I shall show my scars with pride someday soon

Someday soon I shall rise reinventing myself

It will not be my destruction but my birth

A new ‘I’ shall be born someday soon

I shall rise someday soon
