In Pursuit

i try so hard to be there for others

i try so hard to make people happy

i try so hard to bring a smile upon a person's face

but i never take the time out to think about myself

how do i love everyone...but i don't even show myself any love?

it's like i don't know who i am anymore

i am a stranger within myself

lost in the mental world i created

i'm so desperate for happiness

that i'll risk my own just to gain it..
