BirdsongA Poem by antonA short poem. Once upon a time in Regents Park.
Sang the sparrow to the tree It is often said by some Tho' the wind may rustle your leaves of green You have the conundrum of the dumb. A growing need to shout and scream But here's the rub old chum This splendid park, won't ever hear your bark For you sadly lack the means. © 2010 anton |
