Colors and YouA Poem by AparnaI met you by the water’s blue, Where twittering birds gracefully flew, There I stood, with not one clue, That the one for me is you. Then, a sudden, you were bright yellow, A nice fellow, and also mellow. When then did you turn red? And tipsy turn the life I lead? Now the many many colors I see! The ever merry orange! The naughty haughty pink! The silent greens, The fights dark and gray, The talks, so very purple, With its fury, passion and thought! And forever, The love, pure and white and ever so bright! © 2014 Aparna |
