Winter's Bare

Winter's Bare

A Poem by Apathy To Empathy

Winter's trees' sway

With a howl of pain,

No clothes to shelter

Their naked skins'.

But from the frozen rain,

The unexpected day approaches

For Spring to surround

All of the earth bound.

Winter's trees' are bare

To the very bone,

Cold to the touch,

And they stand all alone.

Winter is a frozen wasteland,

Bare and cold in your hand.
