She was a Warrior

She was a Warrior

A Poem by Anita
"

A descriptive writing I wrote about my sister who passed from pancreatic cancer of her life while battling the disease.

"
*She Was A Warrior*

She had a shine she carried so bright like a morning sun as it rose at the start of a new day. She fought many battles during her life that challenged her to almost her breaking point. Despite the many times she faced these points, she held her head up even though deep inside she wanted to break. Those around saw her as a weak individual but in her eyes she saw herself as a warrior because knew she was fighting a battle that would one day day be her last. She never let herself become weak as she fought this battle. She wore her shield of armor and went all in head first until sadly life's challenge won the battle and she had to lay her shield of armor down and surrender. Through this challenge, she became a mighty warrior who found her inner strength, her self bravery, her confidence while facing this battle head on till the end. She will always be remembered forever as the warrior who stood tall, who stood proud, and who smiled that beautiful smile.
*Always and Forever Debbie*
*May You Rest In Peace*
*You Mighty Warrior*
