Sick of smiling

sick of trying

sick of owning

and not owning

Tired of writing

and ne'er doing

sick of laughter

and ne'er screwing

feeling numb

perceived as dumb

stuck in a town

drowning gently

breathing water

typing adeptly

ne'er knowing...

I can very much relate to this. I almost feel like this was written to describe me. Haha. But really, I think most people can relate to this, just like you said in the description. And even if someone doesn't fell this way now, I think everyone has felt like this at some point in their life.
