there's a person inside of me

who wants to slip,

running in the rain

and a girl in there,

somewhere,

who wants to fall,

madly in love with a big strong man

crazy about my eyes

and a child,

always, 

chaotic in my curls

giggling at everything,

everyone is funny

and everyone is good

and on the surface

the skin over these life organs

is my reserve

my calm

my adulthood

(but f**k that)
