I always wonder

Am I ok?

I can't forget this charming guy that I'll never see again

I can't get anyone to go out with me when everyone else can

I have got my feelings hurt a lot lately

I sometimes get made fun of

I have some bad things happen to me

I just got lied to by my brother

What else can go wrong?

There's good things also

I have a family that loves me

I have pets that love me

I have friends who like me for who I am

I have had a boyfriend before

I have gotten good teachers that like me and always will

I do have some guys check me out as I walk the streets

Everyone liked my dress at graduations

Every crush I had except for one liked me for a little while

I finally figured out there's two sides in life

The negative side and the positive side

i'm only 11 turning 12 on june 22, so i might not have the greatest skills writing.

if you're 11, turning 12, you shouldn't be worried about these things! it's very good though, i like the repetitive thing you got going on there. i think it was well written, and in my opinion, AGE DOESN'T MATTER! you're a good writer even if you are an eleven year old. keep it up, kid, you're doing fine!

You are so right Rhonda. I think the most important lesson one can learn in life is how to love yourself. Once you master that, the world is your oyster. (I speak from experience) I enjoyed your poem. It was raw and interesting.

Ah, I think we all go through times like these where everything seems bad, but thankfully it does all get better. Nice job with the poem. It was something everybody can relate to on some level.
