What do I want to be?

My life's desire is to be a famous musician

I'll have great songs

I'll have fans around the world

I'll collaborate with musicians around the world

What's the bad part of this?

You can't go walk on the streets like a regular person

If you do one thing wrong, everyone will hate you

Even though there's cons, I still want to be a musician

I think this is wonderful! I am a musician and a poet and although I am not famous, I love music and working with words. My songs are somewhere between Bob Dylan and Kris Kristofferson. They are two of my mentors. I do not think fame would ever overshadow my love for playing guitar and writing poetry though. But I can see and have seen the point you make here. I heard someone say once of Elvis Presley, " His fans just loved him to death" And I think there may be more truth than pun to that statement. This was just great!
