About making a mistake

There are no words to say

The world keeps spinning,

Life goes on.

But the difference in the way you look at me,

the way you talk to me

Has changed and there is no going back.

The world keeps spinning,

And life goes on.

I can't make it stop

          I can't turn back time, no matter how much I want to.

Say;do something different so that you would never look at me like that.

But the world keeps spinning.

And life goes on.

And so must I.

It's pretty simple. I'm looking or phrasing problems, grammar and format. Do the spacing work for this poem?

yes, the spacing works...because it fits with the theme...the spacing between the speaker and her significant other...the distance that has grown, something that happened that created the space, the different look from him.

i have experienced this...once the relationship has been marred beyond repair..there is that look...i got it from three exes...so i know...

Hmmm.... this sounds like marriage, lol. Honestly... it does! I wasn't expecting anything to hit me with this one, but I guess personally I can relate to this a lot.

Wow everyone seems to think this is about marriage! I suppose it's what it means to each reader, and rereading it now I can understand how one would get that. Honestly its about a mistake I made and my moms reaction. But maybe a mothers and daughters relationship is a lot like marriage? Hahaha
