Man, this is gorgeous! So full of loveliness! A resounding awwwh could be heard as the poem ended. What wonderful evoking of emotion-what a way to convey such an over-conveyed feeling!
And as usual your perfect flow and rhyme only helped your message through the minds (and hearts!) of your readers. I don't doubt that I'll return to read this poem again just to feel the beauty of it...
The second time I have read this poem. It is beautiful and kind words for your baby. My three kids have left home and returned bringing two grand children with them. I don't complain. I want my children to know my door will be always open for them. My wise Grandparent told me we must love and protect our children forever. A outstanding poem.

Oh wow.....the presentation is perfect, and what a beautiful ode to your daughter, who will always be your child, I still call my 20 year "my baby"........she doesn't seem to mind, your words are wonderful.......spread your limbs..........like a tree of growth, as is your love.

This title came up as I was reading a new review of "Refreshed", in the "You Might Also Like..." column.
Man, do I ever!
Sometimes I feel like a real dinosaur, in that I stubbornly embrace the doctrine that a beautiful thought is worthy of the few extra minutes work it takes to give it a beautiful FORM, a too-rare viewpoint these days.
What a blessing to encounter such a phenomenally profound thought, in such a delightfully heart-singable format!
And how blessed must that daughter feel, notwithstanding she might have forgotten to tell you that.
Powerful expression, friend!
. moved to tears ... she's beautiful ... and what you wrote is overwhelming and all-consuming ... it would help her feel grounded at all times ... i know that my dad cares about me ... but he is not into words or can be ... he studied in a small village in India ... went on to do an M Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi ... his journey is heroic and inspiring ... but i never heard these words ... i'm at such a loss for words right now ... but i know that these words will stay with your girl forever ... they'll ring in her ears ... they'll comfort her and make her more resilient ... you gave her a gift that empowers her beyond measure ... and me too ... thanks for sharing this ...
