Man, this is gorgeous! So full of loveliness! A resounding awwwh could be heard as the poem ended. What wonderful evoking of emotion-what a way to convey such an over-conveyed feeling!
And as usual your perfect flow and rhyme only helped your message through the minds (and hearts!) of your readers. I don't doubt that I'll return to read this poem again just to feel the beauty of it...
A VERY sweet sentiment I wish i had wrote that for my daughter as I felt the same emotions when she left and moved out on her own. It's so sad for us but alas you have to let them go that's life! imagine how our parents must have felt! now I understand. I really like this poem.
I knew right when I hit the "I am the roots, you are the tree" That this was a parent talking to thier child. Even though I am still a child myself, I k it is true. One of your best the love and emotion flows and leaps off the page.
Aww! I could really tell that you love your daughter, and the message that I got from the poem is that you'll always support her as she grows because you love her? Something like that, but I'm not sure that that's what you were trying to say. Either way, it was an amazing poem.
