Great first line. Bold, direct. I like the simple anglo-saxon words of the whole poem also. The fact you use such words seems to add emphasis and clarity to the msg. I like the gentle rhyme to which works well. But it is the strength of conviction and simple natural truth in the overall msg that is the key point. I think many wld agree with the idea and many wld think 'That's how I want to be.'
