Whisper

A tear slips

Lazily it trickles down her cheek

Embarrassed

She wipes it away

A dream dies

He closed the door and now

She cannot speak

The silence of the dark

Encapsulating her heart

And he whispers

She tries to block it out

He whispers

Suddenly within, a voice begins to shout

Don't make the same mistake

"Just get up and walk away",

She whispered
