Things aren't always as they seem

In this all consuming, ellusive dream

A movie runs within my head

But broken reels elude my dread

 

Shaky camera work is to sweaty palms

As the dingy light is to who we are

Endless possibilities, but just one choice

A chorus of singers, but just one voice

 

A shadow of doubt lies within your heart

Some mysterious figure forces us apart

My shallow, haunting nightmares now true!
