Gone

Inspired by a wordless song, the flowing of the music made these words pop into my head.

As the raindrops fall
Onto the window pane,
I feel that each one
Is a tear cried for me.
My love, you have  left me alone
With no-one to hold me close
And protect me from the storm.

I can relate to this poem a lot. I think keeping this poem short creates a whole sense of empathy which I find in the line "is a tear cried for me.", it really is a excellent poem.

Rain in this poem reminds me of flowing tears. It is sad thou because she misses him so and the security he gave her. Short and sweet, I can never write short poems that actually get a message across. It is a good heart felt write.
