Feelings

I may have feelings
But not like you care,
You'd rather have me
somewhere else.
I don't want to hurt you,
Don't want to tell lies.
I just want to tell you
The truth,
How I feel about you.
Though you want to deny it,
There is no way to hide it,
The love I feel for you
Is real.

Love is a uncontrolled desire. Years ago I loved a girl. Good friends for years. She told me she loved me four years into a friendship. I wish I was brave enough four years earlier and what a life we could of had. Need to express love before we wished we did. A excellent chapter.

I think many people when it comes to love will play games, like these rules one has to follow, when you can call, when you say I love you and when you don't. I think in your poem it is just about doing what feels good. I liked it..
