Father who has been there all this time

soon I must go and make this life mine

I thank you so much with words unspoken

and when i leave home your heart will be broken

 

Dad your arms have been my protection

you kept out all sorts of life's infections

you're there to wipe away the stinging tears

and completly erase all my fears

 

I love you even when hate shows a while

on those day you turn hate to a smile

I've grown up and out of the blond hair with a curl

but to you I will always be daddy's little girl ♥♥
