The Beauty of This Mess

A poem about finding closure through poetry.

Maybe I won’t ever find closure in some things

But in my writing

In this peaceful place

I am so much closer than I was before

And that is good enough for me

I love this-- I think that is how most writers feel, especially those who have experienced things like mental illnesses. I think writing becomes a place where it is okay to fall apart, it's okay to not be okay in your writing. Thanks for sharing
