Hemnes

Hemnes

A Poem by Alexandra

A dresser for two
& a bed for one
How lonesome it must be to know that there is space to fill, but none to occupy it
It's been this way since last May
When you found residence in another place
North from your home & closer to my own

We digressed
Looking at the dotted lines
Finding nothing, but space to fill
Yet, no will to try
