The Aspire

The Aspire

A Poem by Alexandra

He pointed and said, " You would only want me to move in there because you'd want to sleepover"

How right
How long I've yearned to be in your proximity again
And how tender these scars would begin to feel as soon as I lay in the same bed as you
& to wake up to Sunday's morning dew

How easy it would be to peel layer by layer & be in your embrace
And have your eyes looking only at mine
Continuously diving into eachother, further into this bottomless pit

She giggled & said, "It'd be perfect, wouldn't it?"
