A Poem by Alexandra

Things I Don't Miss:
1. Driving back from the beach to your apartment. We would always fight.
2. Gaining weight & no longer fitting in my favorite high waisted shorts.
3. You broke up with me right after that ride
4. If I go back there, I'm pretty sure I'd have a panic attack like last time
5. Holding onto the postcard of his painting " Salem Cove" in order to relieve the anxieties brewing
6. Wanting to purposely drown like Edna in The Awakening
7. Anytime I wanted to grab your hand during the game, you brushed it off. Eager to beat me & you did.
8. Failing to write because mother always said the arts was a waste of money & that I wasn't good at it anyway.
9. How depressed I grew as I saw more & more similarities between me & Aggeliki
10. Finding out less than two hours ago, I was being used for a while
