Amo/C10H14N2A Poem by AlexandraA favorite piece of mine that I wrote on NYD around 6:45 AM. The person that this is about is no longer with me, but I think they should know that there was once a good time before all the bad hit.
There is something poetic about being with you
On the eve of the New Year Holding a cigarette in one hand and the other holding mine Love and death coincide and I can feel my circuits turn We share death’s kiss as nicotine passes through our perched lips You could care less about the crowd The 10 degree weather couldn’t possibly break this moment Two lovers and a cigarette The clock strikes 12 and we know what this means Our pacts been sealed © 2017 Alexandra |
