Cancer spread across my body
Tainting the very capillaries that used to bleed for you
And only you

Only ocean water to relieve this pain
I dip slowly under the waves
And think about the very disease that burrows within

June 10th
You resent me so much for that day
And I tried to explain

Dip further again
Forget about it
You've done all you could

I wish I could stop breathing at this point
Erase my very existence
And the thought of forever with you
